About The Position
As an HVAC/R Apprentice, you will gain experience in servicing and installing HVAC systems including Rooftop units, gas heating systems, split systems, heat pumps, variable refrigerant flow systems, mini split systems, exhaust fans, energy recovery ventilators, makeup air units, chillers, boilers, hydronic pumps, and more.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- EPA Type II (Preferred)
- Driver's License
Nice To Haves
- HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
- Refrigeration experience is a plus.
- Experience with control systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work towards becoming a licensed technician.
- Attend required classes as required by Rhode Island.
- Assist Journeymen technician and foreman.
- Refrigeration experience is a plus.
- Experience with control systems is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent communication skills & customer relations.
- Safety on the jobsite at all times.
- Other duties as assigned
