About The Position

East Texas Refrigeration (ETR) is seeking a hands-on Commercial HVAC Project Manager / Field Supervisor / Lead Installer to join their growing team in Longview, TX. ETR has served East Texas since 1980, providing HVAC and refrigeration services to commercial clients. This role involves leading and supervising commercial HVAC installations, coordinating with project managers and general contractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The position also includes training junior technicians, tracking job progress, and maintaining a focus on safety and quality. The role requires travel to job sites across Texas with minimal overnight work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Experience leading crews or acting as a lead installer
• Strong knowledge of ductwork and commercial HVAC systems
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Pipefitting and brazing experience
• EPA certification
• VRF experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installations (new construction & retrofits)
• Coordinate with project managers and general contractors
• Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to spec
• Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices
• Read and interpret blueprints and job specs
• Track materials, labor, and job progress
• Travel to job sites across Texas (minimal overnight work)
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality
