HVAC Production Technician I
About The Position
Advanced Air Systems is an Experienced HVAC Contractor specialized in air conditioning installations, repairs, and maintenance solutions for residential and commercial customers throughout the state of Florida. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an air conditioning technician.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 ft tall
- Ability to lift 100 LBS or more.
- Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests.
- Must be eligible to drive company’s vehicles.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
- Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing upon reasonable suspicion or any other regulatory requirement.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to read and understand schematics.
- Install air conditioning/refrigeration systems and related equipment (e.g. unit heaters, pumps, safety controls, etc.) for the purpose of providing comfort inside facilities.
- Ductwork, welding, pipe fitting, installing HVAC equipment, roof stands and curbs etc.
- Must be responsible and professional operating a marked company vehicle
- Direct other workers as may be required for the purpose of ensuring that assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.
- Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment (e.g., torches, cutter, drills, test equipment, sheet metal, filters, control components, fan blades, gasket, seals, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and equipment is in safe operating condition.
