About The Position

The HVAC Design & Product Engineering Intern will report to the Head of AC Design. This role is responsible for learning and using MAHLE systems to work on Product Engineering tasks, including submitting VAMAS requests, test set-up, analyzing test data, and generating reports for review and approval. The intern will also learn about HVAC module design from quality aspects, starting with drawings (tolerance callouts), DFMEA, and DRBFM. If opportunities arise, the intern may assist with tasks in manufacturing plants or customer sites, which requires travel. The role involves participating in and running HVAC module level tests, and learning to use a 1st order CFD Tool for HVAC module design optimization. Additionally, the intern will get involved in problem-solving initiatives with team members using tools such as 5 whys, fish bone, and fault trees.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; role open Freshman or higher.
• CAD, CAE, Validation - Testing, Analysis & report creation.
• Expereince or internship in relevant course work.

Responsibilities

• Learn & use MAHLE systems to work on Product Engineering tasks (Submitting VAMAS request, test set-up, analyze test data & generate reports to be reviewed & approved by team / management)
• Learn about HVAC module design from quality aspects, starting with Drawings (tolerance callouts), DFMEA, DRBFM etc.,
