About The Position

Ambient HVAC Supply is part of the Ambient Enterprises family of HVAC companies, supporting contractors and commercial partners with high-quality equipment, parts, and technical solutions. We’re growing quickly and focused on delivering exceptional customer experience, strong product expertise, and long-term partnerships. This role is a key customer-facing role responsible for supporting contractors and internal teams by providing product recommendations, preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth experience from inquiry through fulfillment. This role blends customer service, technical product knowledge, and sales support.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of inside sales, customer service, or counter sales experience (HVAC, plumbing, or building products preferred)
  • HVAC product knowledge or strong willingness to learn (equipment, parts, and systems)
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transaction-heavy environment
  • Proficient with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC distribution or contractor experience
  • Familiarity with quoting, submittals, or light technical support
  • Experience supporting outside sales teams

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and walk-ins
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, and order confirmations
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently in the ERP system
  • Support outside sales reps with pricing, product availability, and documentation
  • Assist customers with equipment selection, parts identification, and basic technical questions
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and solutions
  • Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order records
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with contractors and internal partners
