About The Position

DMG (Ambient) is an HVAC manufacturers’ representative with over 40 years in business and representing over 40 product lines. We have an immediate opening for an Inside Sales-Parts person in our Sacramento, CA location. The Parts Person is a highly organized, detailed individual with a keen eye for detail. This is an opportunity to be on a team that provides great support and professional development, as well as camaraderie and trust. This position is responsible for processing parts sales, customer orders and responding to customer's inquiries, questions or complaints regarding parts services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong sales background (preferably in HVAC parts or equipment sales)
  • HVAC technical experience or knowledge
  • Warehouse and Inventory Experience
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM (Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds (with assistance from others)
  • Patience, Flexibility, Positive Attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Business Central or MS dynamics a plus

Responsibilities

  • Executes quote and order management processes with a high level of accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process and follows through fulfillment
  • Reacts to customer service issues, customer complaints, and/or business opportunities
  • Complete order entry or quote preparation
  • Coordinate product deliveries to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the flow of product and process
  • Own and manage warehouse space availability and requirements for inventory and consignment products. Implement and oversee recycling and waste management programs to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient overall warehouse environment.
  • Use inventory management methods and procedures to identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements
  • Support internal sales teams by researching options including, but not limited to receiving and processing orders, product and service questions, managing transfers, warranty administration and overall customer complaints
