About The Position

Gateway Supply, a trusted leader in HVAC and plumbing supplies, is looking for a driven and results-oriented HVAC Outside Sales Representative to support and increase our customer base of HVAC contractors in the Greenville, SC area. As part of our Outside Sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors throughout the Greenville, SC area. This is a customer-focused role that is ideal for someone who is organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales and service environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in outside sales in the HVAC industrial supply industry
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems is a plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships: Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts through strong relationships and consistent customer engagement and follow-up.
• Understand customer needs: Use Gateway Supply’s full offering and vendor partnerships to meet customer needs and provide tailored solutions for project and business requirements.
• Facilitate purchases and deliveries: Coordinate with internal teams (inside sales, purchasing, and delivery) to support efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date: Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity to effectively position Gateway Supply as a market leader.
• Track sales performance: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
