Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and mechanical systems; plumbing experience a plus.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
Working knowledge of Bluebeam, energy modeling software (HAP, TRACE).
Experience designing systems such as air, hydronic, steam, refrigeration, and industrial ventilation.
Familiarity with various industry sectors: industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical, laboratory, life sciences, etc.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of project stakeholders and team members.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.

Nice To Haves

PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred.
EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer HVAC and mechanical systems for design-build projects.
Create and review proposal and permit designs, energy modeling, specifications, and commissioning plans.
Conduct site visits and construction reviews to ensure design compliance.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve engineering challenges.
Ensure project outcomes meet customer expectations, budgets, and schedules.
Provide accurate time estimates for tasks and monitor progress toward project timelines.
