About The Position

Installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs heating and air conditioning equipment and control systems. Equipment sizes may vary depending on area of responsibility. This is a readvertisement; current applicants need not reapply.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in relevant area
• Two (2) years of appropriate experience in installation, maintenance & repair of HVAC equipment.
• An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Must have an EPA Universal certification.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Responsibilities

• Attends meetings, briefings, and training classes to increase knowledge and job performance.
• Maintains mechanical equipment rooms in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Performs preventive maintenance on heating and cooling system equipment.
• Repairs or replaces other cooling or mechanical equipment including refrigerators, freezers, pumps and shop equipment.
• Responds to cold or hot calls; starts or stops chillers and boilers.
• Tracks time, man-hours, and refrigerant usage; orders parts; coordinates with outside suppliers.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems in heating and air conditioning systems, locates problems and repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Other related duties as assigned
