Haven Services with Hetter Heating and Cooling is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy preventative maintenance, building customer relationships, and ensuring systems operate at peak performance year-round.

Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC maintenance or service experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Solid electrical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Valid EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification
• Valid, current driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and professionalism
• Maintaining eligibility to operate company vehicles is a fundamental job requirement. All employees who operate company vehicles must maintain a driving record that remains insurable under the company’s insurance provider.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Inspect, clean, test, and adjust system components for optimal performance and efficiency
• Identify potential issues and recommend repairs or system upgrades
• Replace filters, belts, capacitors, contactors, and other common maintenance parts
• Perform system performance testing and safety checks
• Maintain accurate service documentation and maintenance records
• Communicate findings clearly with customers and team members
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations
• Deliver professional, friendly, and high-quality customer service
