About The Position

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specific systems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV’s, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience.
• For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include one (1) year of commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.
• EPA – Universal Certification
• Valid state issued driver's license
• Adherence to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500.

Nice To Haves

• Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program.
• Graduation from a BAS program.
