About The Position

The Lead Installer is responsible for installation of HVAC equipment into residential customer’s homes including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components. Essential Job Functions Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes per manufacturer specifications, company policy, local and state required codes. Effectively perform the functions of equipment troubleshooting, installation, start-up, operation and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction. Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings to AMI Quality Standards, required code and job specifications. Perform installation of refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering. Ensure gas line connections and fittings to are properly secured. Perform metal and wood hole cutting, framing and nailing outlets as required by job specifications. Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational. Verify all materials and equipment required for each scheduled job and load into company vehicle. Perform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety trainings and regulations as defined by company policy and procedure. Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and operated in accordance to company driving policy. Provide knowledge, training and guidance to Install Helpers to assist in the development of skills necessary to perform HVAC installation job requirements. Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous HVAC installation experience or enrollment in appropriate schooling (determined by management).
  • Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job.
  • Must have a valid driver license and clean driving history.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.
