About The Position

Champion & Nash HVAC is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to lead install teams. This role involves instructing teams, executing professional installations of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, and ensuring work is done properly, safely, and to company standards while providing excellent customer service. The position is full-time, reports to the General Manager, and is based in Pasadena, TX.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of field experience
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
  • Tech Savvy - The ability to use tablets and learn work related software with ease
  • Verifiable experience to develop quotations for repairs and installations of replacement equipment
  • Demonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals
  • Proven ability in installing, replacing, and serving HVAC systems in new residential and commercial properties
  • Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays) or on-call shifts when needed

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation units.
  • Maintain proper inventory, parts, tools, and knowledge in using appropriate safety equipment in the vehicle.
  • Mentor and train apprentices on the job and provide them with learning opportunities.
  • Diagnose service issues, obtain any replacement parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Provide excellent customer service abilities in dealing with customers to resolve technical, logistical, and scheduling issues.
  • Perform quality work with honesty and diligence and follow company procedures and values.
