About The Position

Lennox is seeking an HVAC Lab Technician IV to support mechanical engineers with the setup, testing, and evaluation of HVAC components, equipment, and prototype systems. This role involves hands-on work in a lab environment, including assembling and modifying mechanical components, conducting operational testing, and documenting results through detailed reports and data analysis. This is a 2nd shift position (2pm - 10:30pm).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and engineering principles used to create technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

Responsibilities

• Set up and test HVAC prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions
• Fabricate, assemble, and modify mechanical components and assemblies
• Record and document test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data
• Support mechanical engineers with product testing and evaluation
• Assist with proposals, cost estimates, and workload planning
• Help establish project schedules and completion timelines
