HVAC Instructor
About The Position
Fortis College in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced, highly motivated HVAC Technician to join its faculty. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC morning program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC courses. The typical teaching load is 1-2 courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree required
- Certification in EPA Universal
- At least three years of experience in the field of HVAC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience preferred
