About The Position

Universal Technical Institute (UTI) is seeking an experienced HVACR Technician to join their team as an Instructor. This role offers the opportunity to mentor and train the next generation of technicians. UTI provides training for those new to teaching, emphasizing the reward of seeing students succeed. As an HVACR Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping students' skills and knowledge in heating and cooling systems, utilizing hands-on, interactive teaching methods to prepare them for careers in various industries.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
3-5 years of practical work experience in the field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with students and fellow staff effectively
A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace

Nice To Haves

EPA 608/Universal certification is highly valued

Inspire and Educate: Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can flourish, fostering their passion for the HVACR industry while imparting your expert knowledge.
Hands-On Training: Lead by example and provide practical demonstrations, ensuring students gain real-world experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with our education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones that align with industry trends and advancements.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor students on their projects, encouraging them to think critically and find innovative solutions.
Safety First: Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students.
