About The Position

The HVAC Installer is responsible for installing residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. The role also involves replacing or retrofitting systems to meet current efficiency and safety standards, installing thermostats and controls, testing system functionality, communicating with customers, maintaining work records, and coordinating with dispatch and the warehouse to complete jobs on time.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5+ years of HVAC installation experience is preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
• Replace or retrofit HVAC systems to meet current efficiency and safety standards.
• Install thermostats, controls, and related accessories.
• Test system functionality and ensure proper airflow and temperature control.
• Explain the installation process to customers and answer their questions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Coordinate with dispatch and the warehouse to ensure timely job completion.
