About The Position

Grille Mechanical Contractors is hiring experienced HVAC Installers and Lead HVAC Installers to join their growing team serving Monmouth and Ocean Counties. This is a family-owned and operated HVAC contractor that has proudly served New Jersey for more than 40 years. The installation team works on a wide variety of projects, from residential replacements and commercial fit-outs to new construction and high-end custom homes throughout the Jersey Shore. They are looking for installers who take pride in their craftsmanship, pay attention to the details, and want steady, year-round work with a company where good people are valued and have opportunities to grow.

Requirements

2–3+ years of HVAC installation experience
Residential HVAC installation experience
Experience with replacements, renovations, retrofits, and/or new construction
Experience installing heating and cooling equipment, ductwork, and ductless systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Organized and highly detail-oriented
Professional communication and jobsite conduct
Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting 50+ pounds
Ability to work in varying weather and jobsite conditions
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Commercial HVAC installation experience strongly preferred
5+ years of HVAC installation experience (for Lead Installer role)
Ability to independently run residential and commercial HVAC installation projects (for Lead Installer role)
Strong new-construction HVAC experience (for Lead Installer role)
Experience leading helpers or installation crews (for Lead Installer role)
Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, system startups, and troubleshooting (for Lead Installer role)
High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship (for Lead Installer role)
Professional and dependable in high-end customer environments (for Lead Installer role)

Nice To Haves

EPA certification preferred
EPA certification (for Lead Installer role)
Experience with boilers, refrigeration, commercial HVAC, and high-end custom residential construction is a plus (for Lead Installer role).
