About The Position

Chesapeake Climate Control has an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Installer specializing in new construction homes. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for the full installation of HVAC systems in newly constructed residential properties. This position requires hands-on mechanical skill, adherence to energy code standards, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. The ideal candidate is a reliable and experienced installer with a strong work ethic and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Requirements

2–4 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience in residential new construction (REQUIRED)
Extensive knowledge of IECC energy codes and HVAC installation practices
Must have own hand tools and reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively within a team
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and manage physically demanding tasks
Must demonstrate a “No Excuses, Make It Happen” attitude
New Construction HVAC Installation: 2 years (Required)
Driver's License (Required)

Journeyman HVAC (Preferred)
