Requirements
- Prior experience in HVAC installation and/or service and repair
- EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification required
- Knowledge of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and seasonal tune-ups on HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding system issues and recommended solutions
- Maintain accurate service records and document work performed on each job
