About The Position

ACI Mechanical is a full-service, merit-shop, design-build commercial and industrial mechanical contractor founded in 1945. The company is committed to customer service and employs a team of engineers, project managers, skilled tradespeople, service technicians, and support staff. ACI Mechanical is seeking an individual experienced in HVAC installation and service who can display installation skills and communicate knowledge to team members and owners.

Requirements

• EPA Universal certification is required
• 2 years minimum as a HVAC, Mechanical, or Hydronic Journeyman license required
• Driving record meets company requirements
• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Recover and evacuate standard refrigerant systems
• Display ability to wire standard low voltage control thermostats & contactors
• Pressure test and vacuum pump refrigeration systems
• Efficiently install split systems, mini splits, and air handlers
• Disconnect and connect exiting high voltage connections
• Charge new refrigerant systems and perform start-up
• Install RTU’s and perform start-ups
• Perform other duties as assigned
