About The Position

Details matter, shortcuts show, and the work behind the equipment determines how well it performs for years. We’re looking for an HVAC Installation Technician who takes pride in building comfort the right way. Since 2009, we’ve grown from a one-man HVAC company into a trusted home-service provider serving homeowners throughout the Charlotte area. Requirements

  • Three years of residential HVAC installation experience requested, but not required
  • Experience installing a variety of residential HVAC systems
  • Working knowledge of airflow, electrical, refrigeration, venting, and controls
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements
  • Dependable, adaptable, and ready to learn
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • EPA certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, mini-splits, and air handlers
  • Install ductwork, zoning systems, thermostats, controls, and indoor air quality equipment
  • Complete equipment changeouts, start-ups, testing, and commissioning
  • Read job scopes and prepare materials, tools, and equipment
  • Protect the customer’s home and maintain a clean work area
  • Identify installation, code, safety, and performance concerns
  • Communicate job progress and changes with customers, teammates, and management
  • Complete accurate installation documentation
  • Keep company vehicles, tools, and materials organized
  • Follow company safety, quality, and refrigerant-handling standards
  • Participate in ongoing technical and professional training
