About The Position

Fix-It 24/7 is a rapidly growing home services company committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers and creating great career opportunities for our team. We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Install Manager to lead our residential installation department in Charleston. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows residential HVAC installation, can lead and develop technicians, and understands how to run a productive, profitable install department.

Requirements

  • Strong residential HVAC installation experience required
  • Previous HVAC leadership or management experience strongly preferred
  • Thorough understanding of residential HVAC systems, installation practices, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple installation crews and a fast-moving schedule
  • Strong leadership and people-development skills
  • Comfortable managing performance through KPIs and department goals
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify operational problems and implement solutions
  • Customer-focused mindset with high standards for quality
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Service Titan or similar home-services software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop HVAC installation teams
  • Manage daily installation schedules, manpower, and job assignments
  • Ensure installations are completed correctly, efficiently, safely, and to company standards
  • Monitor department KPIs, productivity, job costing, callbacks, and overall performance
  • Drive revenue and profitability while maintaining a strong customer experience
  • Conduct quality-control checks and address installation or workmanship concerns
  • Work closely with sales, service, warehouse, dispatch, and leadership teams
  • Ensure crews have the equipment, materials, and information needed to complete jobs successfully
  • Help recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-performing installers
  • Hold team members accountable to performance and company expectations
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and installation capacity
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, permitting requirements, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
  • Support inventory and equipment planning based on installation demand
  • Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and work toward timely resolutions
  • Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, and continuous improvement
