About The Position

Standard Heating & Air Conditioning is growing and seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Technician who takes pride in doing the job correctly. We are building a team that takes care of customers the right way and supports each other in the field. This role involves installing HVAC systems, creating an excellent customer experience, performing thorough system testing, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a lead installer
EPA certification required
Professional communication with homeowners
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Able to lift and maneuver equipment and work in various job-site conditions

Nice To Haves

Journeyman gas fitter a plus
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ductwork per minimum standards and installation manual requirements.
Create a customer experience that exceeds the expectations set by the sales team or Comfort Advisor.
Communicate professionally throughout the installation process and ensure the customer is fully prepared to operate their new HVAC system upon completion of the job.
Perform thorough start-up and testing of installed systems to ensure proper operation; complete and sign the Safety, Quality, and Assurance Report.
Adhere to safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.
Complete the post-install checklist accurately.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used; upon completion of the job, call into the Project Management Team and communicate any issues.
