About The Position

Hiller is hiring an HVAC Install Lead Technician to perform residential HVAC replacement work and related inspections, calculations, and customer communication. The technician must complete installations to code, follow applicable state HVAC codes, and mentor team members and apprentices on performance metrics. The role offers $25–$35 per hour and a $3,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the stated experience requirement. Applicants are required to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of verifiable HVAC installation experience to qualify for the sign-on bonus.

• EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC replacements to code.
• Solder and perform electrical work associated with HVAC projects.
• Conduct thorough and accurate HVAC inspections and communicate findings to clients.
• Perform calculations necessary for HVAC work and invoicing.
• Know and adhere to all applicable state HVAC codes.
• Mentor team members and apprentices weekly on the team's performance metrics.
