About The Position

Thermo Direct is a family-owned and operated home services company serving the Raleigh, NC area. We are seeking a North Carolina Licensed HVAC Install Field Supervisor to serve as our quality control leader in the field. This role ensures every install meets NC code, passes inspection, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. This is a field-first leadership role where you will be the final checkpoint on install quality and code compliance, responsible for ensuring every job is done right, passes inspection, and reflects high standards. You will also be responsible for handling failed inspections & recalls, completing install-related warranty calls, and diagnosing airflow, performance, and install-related issues. Additionally, you will train and coach installers in the field, reinforce safety standards, and partner with the Install Manager to improve team performance and reduce callbacks.

Requirements

• Active NC Heating Contractor License (Required)
• Strong knowledge of NC HVAC Codes
• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Proven leadership or field supervisory experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to manage multiple job sites daily
• Clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Visit multiple job sites daily to verify install quality
• Ensure all work meets NC Code
• Catch and correct issues before inspections fail
• Hold install teams accountable to proper procedures—not shortcuts
• Handle failed inspections & recalls
• Complete install-related warranty calls
• Diagnose airflow, performance, and install-related issues
• Fix root problems—not just symptoms
• Train and coach installers in the field (real-time, hands-on)
• Reinforce safety standards and proper installation procedures
• Partner with Install Manager to improve team performance and reduce callbacks
