Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good customer relations and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A “self-starter” attitude and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision
- Responsible for the daily preparation of the parts and tools for each day’s activities
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to Pass a drug screen and/or background check
- Ability to write and read English language
- Strong ability to operate under all weather conditions
- Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, and/or kneel continually
Responsibilities
- Install equipment, by project requirements and under the direction of the Lead Installer: HVAC: air handler drains, piping for split systems, overhead duct hangers and ductwork, etc. Refrigeration: display case drains, walk-in box drains, overhead hangers, and piping, etc.
- Perform all assigned work safely and responsibly. Use power and hand tools, powered vehicles, machinery, and PPE as directed and required by Source, customer, and contract policy.
- Escalate problems and concerns (safety, quality of work, etc.) to on-site Lead Installer or project managers promptly.
- Always maintain clean and professional job sites/work areas. Properly store, disassemble, or remove all spare and waste materials created on assigned job sites.
- Provide assistance and support to senior technician/s on a job.
- Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
- Installation of all types of piping including PVC, copper (brazing), copper line sets
- Perform any other duty that may be directed by management.
