HVAC Install Apprentice
About The Position
The HVAC Install Trainee is responsible for working with the Lead Install Technician to ensure the on-time, high-quality installation of HVAC equipment, duct systems, fittings, grilles, registers, diffusers, controls, and related equipment. He/she must identify and solve problems that might impede the completion of work within budgeted time. He/she provides feedback and suggestions to the Lead Install Technician on ways to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. He/she completes approved repairs/improvements in a timely manner, leaves a clean and orderly installation, and ensures that our customers will always call us for their indoor comfort needs. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Follow defined installation procedures for HVAC equipment according to company instructions/policy, manufacturer installation instructions, Comfort Consultant notes, and Lead Installation Technician instructions
- Identify and solve problems that might prevent the completion of work within budgeted time
- Complete repairs, improvements, or installations within budgeted hours, in accordance with company standards, while maintaining quality
- Start-up new equipment and verify correct operation
- Clean equipment and work area
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completion of work
- Acquire sufficient knowledge, skills, training, and information to achieve peak performance, continuous improvement, and a positive, productive work environment consistent with company goals and objectives in order to be promoted to Lead Installation Technician
- Complete all paperwork required by management, record hours, document all materials used, and collect for work performed
- Keep assigned service vehicle organized, clean, and stocked
- All other duties as assigned
