HVAC Helper/Apprentice

Requirements
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools
- Positive attitude and coachability
- Dependability, punctuality, and personal accountability
- Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Prior construction, trades, warehouse, automotive, or mechanical experience
- HVAC school enrollment or completed trade coursework
- EPA certification or desire to obtain
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, or working in the field
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed HVAC technicians with installations, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance
- Load, unload, organize, and stage tools, equipment, and materials
- Help prepare job sites and maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Learn HVAC systems, airflow, refrigeration principles, controls, duct systems, and installation best practices
- Support equipment startups, inspections, testing, and quality checks
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and industry standards
- Represent Fischer with professionalism, pride, and a strong work ethic
