Requirements

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools
  • Positive attitude and coachability
  • Dependability, punctuality, and personal accountability
  • Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Prior construction, trades, warehouse, automotive, or mechanical experience
  • HVAC school enrollment or completed trade coursework
  • EPA certification or desire to obtain
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, or working in the field

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed HVAC technicians with installations, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance
  • Load, unload, organize, and stage tools, equipment, and materials
  • Help prepare job sites and maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
  • Learn HVAC systems, airflow, refrigeration principles, controls, duct systems, and installation best practices
  • Support equipment startups, inspections, testing, and quality checks
  • Communicate professionally with team members and customers
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Represent Fischer with professionalism, pride, and a strong work ethic
