About The Position
Mechanical One is a rapidly expanding residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical company in the Southeast. We are seeking a motivated and high-capacity student to gain hands-on experience in finance, operations, and growth. This role offers direct interaction with our leadership team, contributing to critical business decisions and financial strategies.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate at University of Central Florida (Finance, Accounting)
- Strong Excel skills (formulas and pivots)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- High ownership / low ego
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Willing to be in-office and engaged with the team
- Strong work ethic
- Currently live in the Orlando, FL area
Nice To Haves
- Power BI experience
- Purchasing experience
- ServiceTitan experience
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models (revenue, margin, forecasting)
- Support monthly business reviews and KPI tracking
- Analyze job-level profitability, labor trends, and purchasing data
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting (FY26 AOP and beyond)
- Work with large datasets
- Identify issues and propose solutions
- Engage with the team in an in-office environment
