About The Position

Nature Air Corp is hiring an experienced Fiberglass Duct Installer / Mechanic for commercial HVAC projects throughout South Florida. This is not an entry-level or helper position. Applicants should already have hands-on experience installing fiberglass duct systems in commercial construction. We are looking for an experienced installer/mechanic who can immediately contribute in the field, not someone entering the trade for the first time.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on fiberglass duct installation experience required
• Strong understanding of fiberglass duct fabrication and installation
• Able to accurately read a tape measure
• Able to work from mechanical drawings and layouts
• Familiar with commercial construction
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance

Responsibilities

• Install fiberglass ductboard systems
• Measure, cut, fabricate and assemble fiberglass duct and fittings
• Install supply, return, outside-air and related duct systems
• Install flex duct, dampers, diffusers, grilles and registers
• Install hangers and supports
• Follow mechanical plans, layouts and field instructions
• Make field measurements and adjustments as required
• Maintain clean, professional installation standards
• Work independently or alongside other experienced mechanics/installers
