About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep our buildings, equipment, and mechanical systems running safely and efficiently. Requirements

One to two years of related maintenance, facilities, HVAC, or mechanical experience preferred.
Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including heating, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, and controls.
Working knowledge of pumps, motors, belts, and other mechanical components.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical equipment.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot heating systems, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, controls, pumps, motors, and other mechanical components.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, building systems, and other mechanical equipment to keep everything operating safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and complete repairs involving plumbing, lighting, equipment, and other general maintenance needs.
Maintain water systems and set up, test, and repair facility and resident equipment.
Help ensure Cedar Community's buildings, systems, and equipment remain safe, functional, and reliable for residents and team members.
