About The Position
The HVAC Estimator plays a key role in developing accurate and competitive pricing by reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers and generating detailed estimates and proposals. The Estimator will be crucial to the business by aiding in the pricing of services to offer customers the best solution. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter, excels at building relationships, and enjoys quantitative problem-solving.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Sales and/ or HVAC experience
- Strong skills in written and oral communication, organization, and time management
Responsibilities
- Review specification and drawings
- Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes.
- Attend preconstruction site visits (when applicable)
- Assist with detailed estimates and proposals.
- Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals.
- Provide accurate estimates and proposals.
- Partner closely with our sales, operations and engineering teams to assist with the best solutions and pricing.
- Assist with the selection of contractors.
- Participate in Monthly project review meetings
