About The Position

The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to facility inspection, maintenance planning, energy saving, government relations, audit preparation, construction management, and emergency response for HVAC and relevant systems.

Requirements

• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in HVAC and utility equipment.
• HVAC/PE related certification.
• Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar programs (reading and drawing).

Responsibilities

• Facility inspection and technical support on HVAC and relevant systems.
• Review/repair the facility based on system requests.
• Develop/manage/revise the facility operation manual.
• Perform daily/monthly/quarterly/yearly facility inspections.
• Identify causes of facility abnormalities and review technology.
• Prepare reports of abnormalities for history management.
• Plan to optimize operation efficiency.
• Manage pipes (air, water supply, etc.).
• Establish and manage annual maintenance/repairment plans and budgets.
• Request renovations and issue purchase orders (P/O).
• Manage maintenance/repairment performance.
• Review construction drawings and make simple modifications (P&ID, etc.).
• Write specifications for repairs and new construction, and write construction documents for public use.
• Request quotations for new facilities and issue construction purchase orders.
• Manage facility investment performance.
• Analyze energy usage trends by equipment.
• Identify energy-saving potential items by equipment.
• Manage monthly energy-saving performance (operating time applied).
• Respond to regular court inspections on HVAC facilities.
• Review, check, and rectify facilities to meet local laws and regulations.
• Create and manage facility documents required by PSM/ISO.
• Take measures to improve facilities and correct non-conformities specified by PSM/ISO.
• Supervise HVAC facility construction (due to repair, extension, or production line changes).
• Request purchase of facility parts.
• Handle purchase orders for construction materials.
• Inspect materials.
• Plan and execute emergency trainings on natural disasters, power outages, and release of harmful substances.
