HVAC Design-Build Estimator / Project Manager
About The Position
Our client is a respected commercial mechanical contractor serving the Puget Sound region and specializing in HVAC design-build projects. The company works directly with building owners, developers, architects, and general contractors to deliver mechanical systems from concept through completion. As its project portfolio grows, it is seeking an experienced HVAC Design-Build Estimator / Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through execution. This role combines technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities and is central to the organization's continued growth and success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating, project management, or design-build experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems.
- Experience with estimating software and project management processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual and detailed HVAC estimates for design-build projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, architects, and general contractors during project development.
- Develop budgets, schedules, and project execution plans.
- Manage projects from award through closeout.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project costs, schedules, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
