Requirements

  • Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time as part of the HVAC Data Center Travel Team is required.
  • Several years of experience working on commercial or industrial systems.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting a range of equipment, including chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, and related systems.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical systems, including alignment and vibration diagnostics.
  • Ability to clearly communicate what’s happening and why—both to teammates and customers.
  • Desire to keep learning and sharing knowledge.
  • Hold a Universal EPA refrigerant license.
  • Open to travel as needed.
  • Requires participation in the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices.
  • Subject to all pre-hiring screening of JCI.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with building automation technologies.
  • Experience with laser alignment and vibration analysis.
  • Interest in developing quoting or customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Put your skills to work on advanced commercial HVAC systems, handling everything from troubleshooting and repairs to full system installations.
  • Work with a wide range of equipment, including chillers, compressors, pumps, rooftop units, and building automation systems—using modern tools like laser alignment and vibration analysis to get the job done right.
  • Serve as a trusted expert to customers—diagnosing issues, explaining solutions, and ensuring their systems run efficiently and reliably.
  • Collaborate with a strong team of professionals, sharing knowledge, supporting apprentices, and continuing to grow your own expertise.
