About The Position

This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining plant utilities equipment, including HVAC, Refrigeration, Fire Protection, Compressed air, and Vacuum Systems. The HVAC Craftsperson will collaborate with Plant Support and Engineering groups to define and implement modifications and improvements for continuous improvement, assist in meeting site energy reduction goals, test and manage site water treatment equipment, maintain site building automation, electronic and pneumatic controls for utilities equipment, and test and maintain Fire Protection systems. The position requires adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and security standards, and a commitment to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture.

Requirements

  • Two-year technical degree in HVAC (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Universal certification in refrigerant handling.
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs.
  • Willingness to work overtime on short notice and respond to call-ins.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Requires completion of in-plant HVAC training program.
  • Solid understanding of Utilities operations and systems.
