This role involves providing responsive and professional customer service to build and maintain long-term customer relationships. The technician will identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems, perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications. Responsibilities include maintaining building automation systems by inspecting logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming. The technician will also provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians, train less experienced technicians, and create/implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofits. Commissioning controls installations and verifying control sequences are crucial. The role requires recording and reporting billing, inventory, timecards, and other necessary documentation. Interaction and training of customers, including status reports and explanations of technical information, are key. Upholding standards, policies, procedures, and maintaining a clean work area are essential.
