About The Position

Star Service, a Fidelity Company, is seeking skilled HVAC technicians with a knack for controls to join their top-notch team in the Houston and Beaumont areas. This role involves providing expert service to existing EMS/BAS systems, conducting service installation projects, performing proactive preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving service issues, and honing programming skills to become a self-sufficient service guru.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an industry-related field, including HVAC Systems and DDC Systems.
• Deep understanding of BAS control components, control strategies, and programming.

Nice To Haves

• Tridium Certification
• Honeywell experience

Responsibilities

• Provide expert service to existing EMS/BAS systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct service installation projects, from sensor and relay upgrades to programming tweaks and controller replacements.
• Perform proactive preventive maintenance visits to safeguard systems.
• Partner with the service team to troubleshoot, resolve, and verify service issues.
• Hone programming skills to become a self-sufficient service guru, capable of handling challenges without remote support.
