About The Position

System Service & Engineering, a Fidelity Building Services Group company, is seeking an experienced HVAC Chiller Technician to join our growing team! In this role, you will service, maintain, repair, and overhaul large-tonnage chiller systems ranging from 70 to 600 tons, manufactured by Carrier, McQuay, Trane, and York. Our clients span multiple industries — including healthcare, hospitality, industrial, retail, and property management — where reliability and performance are critical.

Requirements

• Proven experience with centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chillers
• Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification
• Journeyman License
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• 5–10 years of commercial or industrial HVAC/R experience

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chillers.
• Conduct refrigerant conversions, ASHRAE-15 plant upgrades, and system overhauls.
• Execute preventive maintenance and emergency repair services.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and client expectations.
• Maintain detailed service reports and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and skill development programs.
