About The Position

We are a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services. We are looking for an experienced HVACA Chiller Technician to service, install, and repair HVAC, chiller, and refrigeration equipment for both existing and new accounts in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, major inspections, retrofits, and tear-downs on complex mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong refrigeration background, excellent electrical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics and work with Building Management Systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of all mechanical systems including trouble shooting, repair, and maintain complex mechanical HVAC equipment helpful.
  • Have some working knowledge of PC’s, application software, and Building Management Systems.
  • Have working knowledge of schematic reading.

Responsibilities

  • Service/Install/Repair in an efficient and safe manner to assigned HVAC, Chiller, and Refrigeration equipment/duties for existing and new accounts.
  • Working knowledge of all mechanical systems including trouble shooting, repair, and maintain complex mechanical HVAC equipment helpful.
  • Have some working knowledge of PC’s, application software, and Building Management Systems.
  • Have working knowledge of schematic reading.
  • Will be responsible for performing chiller PMs, troubleshooting/repairs, overhauls, major inspections, retrofits and tear downs.
  • Maintain record of work performed and parts/materials used.
  • Utilizes company and vendor resources.
  • Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld.
  • Ability to follow schedules and budgets.
  • Wear company uniform and required safety PPE, perform job hazard analysis.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, verbal, and written communication.
  • Interact with customer by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call.
  • Be able to explain technical information, effectively and professionally to technical and not-technical audience.
