As an HVAC Assembler, you’ll dive deep into Air Wise’s policies and procedures, leveraging your knowledge to support production and expand our market presence. • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
• Basic knowledge of assembly/manufacturing equipment and processes
• Physically capable; able to lift heavy parts (50lbs), stand for extended periods of time, and twist, bend and reach unrestricted
• Ability to work in a team or group environment and independently with minimal instruction
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills
• Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with sheet metal, metal fabrication processes and/or on HVAC equipment an asset

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of measuring instruments including tape measures, squares, and levels
• Use a variety of hand and power tools including tin snips, screw guns, drills, and grinders to assemble custom HVAC equipment
• Use a MIG welder for tacking and stitch welding
• Understand a basic knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
• Read and understand blueprints and assembly drawings
• Assemble of equipment base frames, wall panels and cabinet, and internal components
• Operate material handling equipment including forklift, crane, and pump cart
• Maintain shop and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner
• Promote teamwork and good company morale; mentor and knowledge share with teammates; conduct yourself with the highest ethical standards
