About The Position
At One Hour, our HVAC Apprenticeship are the friendly face (and hands) behind our HVAC service. If you’re passionate about customer service, enjoy solving mechanical problems, and can put a smile on our clients’ faces while driving a big, yellow truck loaded with tools and parts, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a HVAC Technician, you’ll not only provide top-notch HVAC repairs and maintenance but also build lasting relationships with our customers by delivering exceptional service and clear communication. Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate service and documentation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple service calls, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in varied environments, including confined spaces, outdoors, and in inclement weather.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the willingness to learn and expand technical skills.
- Reliable, drug-free, and committed to upholding company standards.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in HVAC repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with operating service trucks and handling field service tools.
- Certification or formal training in HVAC systems.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service by listening to client needs, explaining service details, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Actively seek and incorporate customer feedback to continuously enhance service quality and tailor our approach to meet client needs.
- Coordinate with colleagues and management on service calls, parts ordering, and scheduling to improve overall efficiency.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems at customer locations, ensuring efficient and reliable service.
- Accurately document repairs, equipment usage, and customer interactions using company systems.
- Maintain and organize the service truck, ensuring all tools and parts are well-stocked and in good working order.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and regulatory standards while performing work both indoors and outdoors.
- Work after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet customer demands.
- Maintain a clean, presentable uniform and adhere to a smoke-free workplace environment.
