The Husbandry Port Controller is responsible for husbandry (crew change, spare parts, CTM) activities over selected US Branch. Tasks include but are not limited to. The Husbandry Port Controller will be expected to monitor operations email account(s). The controller will setup owner’s files / calls in Fairwater and Simply5 (if applicable). All spare parts, crew change and CTM requests to be entered into Fairwater / Simply5 or external system. Port Controller will respond to customers direct with PDAs and will monitor flow of funds to ensure advances received. Port Controller will create forms for husbandry tasks (OKTB letters, S5 checklists, I-408s, CTM receipts etc). When PDA is sent, Port Controller will assign jobs to pre-established vendors. Post sailing, the Port Controller will be responsible for fee input and approval, collection and uploading of supporting documents, approval of vendor invoices, and creation & approval of contra invoices. Generating and issuing DAs or husbandry solutions invoices. Assist General Manager’s efforts as needed for the development of husbandry solutions. Port Controller will perform many traditional functions of a Port Admin.
