About The Position

Dive into a role where sunshine, teamwork, and splashes of magic are part of every shift! As a Slide Attendant at Enchanted Parks' Hurricane Harbor, you'll help safeguard our enchanted waters (no more than five feet deep!) while ensuring guests have the safest-and most fun-experience possible.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Ready to work 5 shifts per week.
• Are 16 or older
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Can successfully pass all StarGuard Elite lifeguard training and licensing, including written and practical tests
• Stay calm and confident in stressful or emergency situations
• Can exit any pool or attraction without ladders, steps, or zero‑depth exits
• Are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Are enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and great at multitasking
• Work well within a team

Nice To Haves

• Staying through the busiest part of the summer to qualify for the Slide Attendant Bonus.
• Working about 30 hours per week from June through August (or at least one shift per weekend later in the season) to qualify for the Slide Attendant Bonus.
• Keeping certifications active to qualify for the Slide Attendant Bonus.
• Working at least one shift during Labor Day weekend and staying employed through the holiday to qualify for the Slide Attendant Bonus.

Responsibilities

• Keep constant, focused watch over guests enjoying Hurricane Harbor.
• Recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies using the world‑class techniques taught by StarGuard Elite.
• Maintain a "Test‑Ready" skill level after certification.
• Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the StarGuard Elite program.
• Assist other areas of the Aquatics Department whenever needed.
• Participate in 2 hours of In‑Service training each month to keep your skills strong.
• Enforce all Enchanted Parks policies across the waterpark.
• Communicate safety policies to guests in a friendly, helpful way.
• Support Enchanted Parks' Guest First Standards, creating magical moments for every visitor.
• Maintain consistent, punctual attendance.
• Perform additional duties assigned by Aquatics leadership.
