About The Position

The Technician will be responsible for supporting Chemical Technicians for day-to-day operations in a PSM-Compliant Chemical Plant. This role involves assisting with equipment setup and teardown in a high-volume, batch production environment, rebuilding chemical process components, and packaging finished materials. The technician will also conduct routine maintenance and operation of process systems, ensuring work practices prioritize safety and quality in a 24/7 production setting. Responsibilities include completing required documentation, maintaining a clean work environment, ensuring facility equipment and inventory levels are accurate, and participating in quality and continuous improvement projects. Effective communication with peers, management, and external stakeholders is essential. The role requires the utilization of business software such as ERP and quality/EHS software, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability and willingness to work off/varied shift/weekends, as required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining
  • Ability to prove status as a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee or refugee status)

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support set-up and tear-down of chemical equipment in a high-volume, batch production environment
  • Responsible for re-build of chemical process components
  • Package and move finished materials to shipment area
  • Conduct routine maintenance and operation of process systems and equipment across assigned process zone and occasionally in cross functional areas
  • Conduct work practices with safety and quality in mind in a 24/7 production environment
  • Complete required business and regulatory process documentation
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Be responsible for ensuring facility equipment and inventory/consumable levels are accurate
  • Participate and actively engage in quality and continuous improvement projects
  • Communicate effectively with peers, management, & external stakeholders
  • Utilize business software such as ERP and quality/EHS software
  • Other duties as assigned
