About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise, including floor merchandise. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by greeting customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information, assistance, and direction.

The associate helps customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs, recommending products, and promoting programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup. The position also includes demonstrating products, organizing and replenishing merchandise, maintaining product knowledge, keeping current with advertised sales and pricing, assisting with seasonal floor moves, and keeping the work area clean and stocked. The associate performs duties under general supervision and follows company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt customer service and support a productive shopping experience.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and recommend products based on that assessment.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise in the retail store and at the gun counter.
• Replenish merchandise on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
