About The Position

Trinity Classical Academy seeks a candidate for Faculty in its Humanities department. Qualified candidates will be models in their lives and abilities in the Upper School Humanities Department (grades 7-12). Requirements

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree (Education Major preferred)
Previous experience is preferred
Proficiency in the liberal arts of grammar, logic, rhetoric
Competence in the Humanities disciplines of history, literature, rhetoric, and Bible
Commitment to the classical, Christian tradition and its pedagogy
Well-read and conversant in the classical, Christian canon of literature
Commitment to education as Christian discipleship
Excellent oral and written command of the English language
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, faculty, and students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
Competence in educational technology (Word processing, online management software, etc.)
Excellent organizational skills
A strong commitment to the emphasis and philosophy of Trinity Classical Academy
Integrates knowledge and skills across disciplines as part of a holistic education
Teaching shows care for students and subject matter
Positive support of the school's policies and practices
Service-oriented and able to interface with many people
Truthful, positive, and purposeful when communicating with others
