The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is seeking a Human Trafficking Services and Support Specialist (SHPC2) for the Missing and Exploited Youth (MEY) Program. This role is crucial in screening and assessing human trafficking, including commercial sexual exploitation of children. The Specialist will ensure accurate and timely reporting of key metrics to inform strategic decisions and evaluate the effectiveness of trafficking-related services for youth. This position also supports collaborative efforts between DCYF divisions and community organizations to identify areas for service delivery improvement, particularly in relation to Senate Bill 6006. The Specialist will follow statewide policies and procedures, administer validated screening tools, and provide comprehensive support to social workers, aiming to improve outcomes for youth at risk of exploitation and foster continuous quality improvement.
