About The Position

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest, most complex agencies in the state, responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence. The Division of Health Benefits (DHB) within NCDHHS manages and oversees North Carolina Medicaid and other programs, with a budget over $27 billion, ensuring reimbursement for over 108,000 enrolled providers delivering services to 3.1 million beneficiaries. This position serves as a technology liaison between the county and stakeholders and NCFAST/NCTRACKS, completing troubleshooting of service tickets, ensuring policy translation in eligibility systems for 100 counties and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Tribe, and working with Managed Care entities, Tailored Plan, and Children and Family Specialty Plan on enrollment and eligibility adherence to policy.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of related experience
  • an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • works as a technology liaison between the county and stakeholders and NCFAST/NCTRACKS
